The human body
The human body has 206 bones, 22 of greatness present in the human skull[1] As for the muscles, the human body contains 620 different muscle,[2] The strongest chewing muscle between the jaws,[3] The largest groin muscle, is a powerful and flexible fabric make body parts move.
In everyday human uses muscles in various types of movement when eating for example using jaw muscle for chewing food, and help other muscles in turn food into the stomach or intestines, and makes the muscles of the chest breathing possible.[4] Covering all the muscles of the human body, and when you grow muscle size increases, and at puberty become muscles make up half the weight of the body.[5]
Types of muscles
Muscle are divided into two basic types; structural and smooth muscles, and the heart muscle of its own, combining the smooth and skeletal muscle.[6]
Skeletal muscle
Functions of skeletal muscle
- Many functions of skeletal muscle:[7]
- Work on the cohesion of the bones of the structure.
- Give the shape and stent.
- Move the body.
- Skeletal muscles are the biggest part of the legs, arms, and abdomen, chest, neck, and face.
Muscle is composed of cells called fibers, fibers are long cylindrical shape, if you looked into a microscope, appear on a shape dark Pack share called Chronicles package, and therefore also called skeletal muscles muscular name planned. The fibers are connected to each other connective tissue, bone, muscle, ending with a strong connective tissue.[8]
The workings of skeletal muscle
Skeletal muscle works in two ways, it works in dual:[9]
- Flexor: where you bend the knuckle comes close to body.
- Extensor: Unlike the flexor function.
Smooth muscles
These muscles are smaller than skeletal muscle fibers, and contain a single nucleus.[11]
The whereabouts of smooth muscles
There are less than smooth muscle skeletal muscles in the body and are found in the following places:[12]
- The walls of the stomach and intestines, blood vessels , bladder.
- Smooth muscle fibers in skeletal muscle.
Smooth muscle action differs from skeletal muscle, it works as follows:[13]
- Working slowly and spontaneously rhythmic contraction followed by a normal system relaxant, and in this way move various body processes.
- Define muscular smooth muscle tics because they are not under conscious control of the brain.
It is the muscle of the heart, heart pumping blood continuity continuously.[14]
The workings of the heart muscle
When blood cells are Contracting paid arteries outside the heart, and blood circulates throughout the body, bringing food to cells.[15] Heart muscle pool between qualities of structural muscle and smooth muscles contain striations as skeletal muscle, cardiac muscle cell each on one core contract automatically, like smooth muscle fibers.
Influence of sports on muscle
- When you lift the person several heavy weights for a short period every day grow more muscle, this exercise makes the muscle nuclei increase in the production of thick and high strings.[16]
- When you perform a light workout person regularly for a long time, like swimming for 30 minutes, increase muscle fiber's ability to produce energy needed to maintain such an effort.[17]
Via rest and proper nutrition body can correct the situation to stop cramping. Cramp can occur in the smooth muscles of the stomach and intestines, doctors use heat and massage and medication in treating cramping. May cause muscle skeletal muscle rupture hard work that can last up to four days in severe cases, it may be due to damage to the muscle and connective tissue, and appropriate exercise can body and muscles adapt to work hard, muscular and much lower risk of tissue damage .[19]
Power lifting and lifting weights
Is a sport strength (Power lifting) of sports requiring great muscular effort, competition depends on the amount of weight, so the lifting weight comes from muscle. And daily training players to carry weights and try to increase it, with a diet helps to renovate and build muscle after training.[20]
The sport of bodybuilding
The sport of bodybuilding (Bodybuilding) is a sport which is competitive in terms of size and shape of the muscles, it includes players carrying weights and do certain exercises to amplify every muscle and increase the detail and clarity of angles, players need to complete diet To repair and build muscle, but at the same time avoid increasing the proportion of body fat to muscle remains obvious.[21]
Muscle diseases
Muscle atrophy: This disease attacks the nervous system and nerves that alert the muscles, and leads to the damage of these nerves, thus gradually shrinking the muscle and becoming weak, an example of kinetic argon disease.[22]
Muscle impairment: Muscle weakness occurs because the muscles themselves do not function properly, and some vasculopathy is characterized by a gradual atrophy of structural muscles.[23]
